Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, An Ascend Collection Hotel

Loved my really great stay for a better time. A king room with an excellent view of the beach, had requested this in advance.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful with great food and excellent views.

Fabulous hip new hotel, wonderful views of the ocean. Supper friendly, amiable staff and a nice swimming pool.

It was stunningly beautiful hotel and we had a fantastic stay. The rooms were brand-new and the service good. The location was perfect, at walking distance from Resort Beach.

Quite small bathroom, Wi-Fi was quite slow, a little disappointed.

Had a restful stay here. We had a well-equipped room with flat-screen television, terrace and hairdryer. Tiled bathroom and fine bed. It was just off the restaurant and boardwalk, handy location overall.

In a spectacular position with an exceptional castle view. The staff was always available and my stay was really comfortable! I found a bar in the lobby. Not to mention fast wifi!

This hotel was suitable place for exploring Virginia Beach, loved it. Staff were happy to help entire time. We had a very very good 2 nights stay.

The hotel had a lovely lobby. I stayed in the room that was cleaned and available with the couch, drinks and fresh towels. I loved that there already were utensils and many plates.

The room was cozy and I liked the Spanish-style building.

It is hip new non-smoking venue, it offers clean pool and the location is perfect close to everything.

I loved super staff and nice interior. There were luxurious and luxurious rooms, nonetheless the views were pretty average. The service was special during all my quite comfortable stay. Nice garden outside. The location was stunning, within easy walking distance of a seasonal amusement center. Food in the perfect restaurant was perfect.

Internet was terrible, made me a little nervous.

I loved the hotel, it was economical and neat. The staff were amazingly kind, ready to any request. Separate bedroom, perfect bed. Oceanfront location, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from boardwalk. Lively area.

Facilities were quite comfortable, even so Wi-Fi was very poor.

My experience at this cool hotel was great. The place was fairly clean, I loved its staff and location. Found in a pretty quiet area. Also, it was 2 miles from Croatan Beach.

Relaxing stay in the beach area. Decent food, excellent co-operating staff, large beds. I had a wonderful view. Oceanfront location of this vacation hotel was a bonus.

Overall a stellar stay - great value, considering prices in other hotels. Upscale hotel, fantastic service, nice location. The room was very big, very comfy bed. The property had a reasonably good breakfast with cereal, eggs, coffee, slices of fresh bread and fresh fruit to order. Efficient check-in too.

Loved my stay, it was fine, the service was exceptional! Staff were extremely friendly, as I could only expect. Reasonably spacious bathroom. The pool was heated and I had hot drinks in the karaoke bar.

I loved this nice basic hotel, its very beautiful location and kind staff. The staff did all they can for a very comfortable stay. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was delicious.

The beds are comfortable and the staff is polite. Only 20 min walk to downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed that we had a heating system, a safe and cable programming in the queen room.

It deserves its 3 stars. The location was great and the staff was helpful. Truly enjoyed the food at their on-site restaurant Calypso Bar and Grill. Kudos to valet: D

we stayed 2 nights and would like to go back there again when visiting united states of america. comfortable rooms and excellent service. fantastic views of sea.

merely a 10-minute walk from virginia beach boardwalk, which was a bonus. it was definitely 3 stars for us.

The setting was superb here. The staff are all great. There was a free parking nearby.

Il Giardino Ristorante was set 15 minutes walk away. We appreciated the fact that we chose grand ocean. The hotel staff was helpful
